Why we exist:
At Inveen, we believe that every individual, regardless of ability, age, and identity, deserves access to comprehensive and inclusive education about sex, puberty, and relationships. Our Mission is to break down barriers, shatter stigmas, and foster a culture of acceptance, empathy, connectedness, and inclusivity. At INVEEN we:
- Provide accessible, engaging, and tailored education catering to the unique needs of young people and people with disabilities.
- Create a safe, supportive, inclusive community that encourages open conversations, questions, and growth.
- Collaborate with experts, advocates, and individuals with lived experience to ensure our content is accurate, relevant, and effective.
- Challenge societal norms and promote a culture of inclusivity, acceptance, and respect for all individuals.
The difference we make:
At Inveen, we use a unique approach grounded in leveraging lived experience and promoting inclusivity. We ensure that diverse perspectives are heard and actively integrated into our programs, creating a culture of safety, acceptance, and transparency. We build open discussions around commonly stigmatised topics in a manner that fosters understanding, mutual respect, and empathy. This allows individuals to face complex challenges in a safe space, confront their fears, challenge their opinions, and explore their thoughts and emotions.

Sophie Trowbridge
Sophie is a facilitator at Inveen. Sophie founded Inveen after witnessing firsthand the detrimental effects that insufficient education and understanding of puberty, sexuality, and healthy relationships can have on vulnerable individuals. Her professional background includes working with people with disabilities within the NDIS framework and supporting young people in transforming their lives in youth education. Recently, Sophie has embarked on a new path as a positive behaviour support practitioner, focusing on mental health and trauma. Sophie is deeply committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can learn and flourish, a commitment rooted in her personal experiences. Through Inveen, she strives to dismantle the obstacles that people encounter in accessing inclusive education, empowering them to make informed choices about their bodies and relationships and to cultivate confidence in their identities.
